SAIT offers testing services for prospective students seeking admission into full-time, apprenticeship and pre-employment programs at SAIT. Admission tests are good for SAIT admissions only and don't change your high school transcripts.

Prospective students may write an admissions exam once they have applied to the program of their choice. All admission exams are done at home or off-campus only. Exams must be scheduled with at least five business days' notice by contacting. Review Prospective Students tab in Testing Services for full details.

SAIT doesn't provide study guides for admission exams. If you are taking an admission exam for high school equivalency, please refer to the Alberta Diploma Exam Guides for similar study materials. If you are taking an entrance exam for apprenticeship or pre-employment programs at SAIT, please refer to the AIT Study Guide for a generalized idea of what to expect on the exam.

These study guides may not cover all the material on the exam. For more recommended resources, please email

Applicants requesting prerequisite testing must be over 17 years of age before the date of registration. You must have an active application for a future semester on file and a valid SAIT ID in order to register for an admissions exam.
