Throughout the 2022 winter term and going forward, SAIT will implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) across the institution for all students and apprentices. With this implementation, MFA will be required to access Microsoft 365 products and applications through your SAIT email account, including:
- email (@edu.sait.ca) and calendar applications, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Web Access
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
MFA will be rolled out to active, registered students and apprentices alphabetically by last name starting late January. You will receive an email from ITS Support Notice (ITS.Support.Notice@sait.ca) to your SAIT email account (@edu.sait.ca) with detailed instructions a day or two before your account will be affected.
