All current students and staff can access mySAIT through single sign-on by using the same credentials for their email and other SAIT resources. If you are a future student looking to pay a tuition deposit or you are a past member of the SAIT community, please follow the steps below to access mySAIT.
Login for mySAIT:
- To access mySAIT, go to the URL https://mysait.ca
- Select the Future students, Former students and employees option.
3. Create your account
- Click Sign up now to create a new account (see image below)
Note: If you already created your account (non-SAIT issued email)
a. Enter your email address and password
b. Click Sign in
c. Takes you to Step 10
4. A new dialogue box appears for you to input the following information
a. Enter your 9-digit SAIT ID
b. Your Date of birth- MMDDYY (format)
c. Click Create
Note: The show input button and the
button reveals the text entered in each box.
5. A new dialogue box appears for your personal email address so that a code can be sent for verification.
a. Input your personal email address.
b. Click Send verification code
c. A verification code would be sent to your email inbox
d. Check your email and locate the message from SAIT
Note: If there is an existing personal email on your SAIT profile, it will be filled in for you already.
6. A new dialogue box appears for you to enter the verification code sent to your stated email.
a. Enter the verification code you received in the email
b. Click Verify Code
Note: If you do not receive the verification code in your email, check your spam or junk folder. The Send new code button sends a new code to your email address.
7. A new dialogue box appears confirming that your email address has been verified.
a. Click the Create button to continue your B2C account creation.
Note: The change email button takes you back to Step 5.
8. A new dialogue box appears for you to set and enter your New Password.
a. Enter your desired password (must follow password criteria) in the New Password field.
b. Confirm your password by typing in the same password in the Confirm New Password field.
c. Click Create to set your password.
Note: The entries into the New Password field and Confirm New Password field must match and the password must meet the criteria listed.
9. Verify your account with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Once the account and password have been created a new dialogue box will appear showing the last 3 digits of the phone number currently available in the SAIT database.
a. If the last 3 digits are incorrect or you no longer have access to the number, please call the ITS Service Desk at 403-774-5200 or e-mail ITS.Support@sait.ca
b. If the last 3 digits are correct, you have 2 options to complete the verification - Send Code or Call me button
i. Clicking Send Code opens a dialogue box where you would need to enter the code sent to your phone via SMS (see images below)
ii. Enter the code in the available box and click Verify Code (see images below)
iii. Clicking Call me triggers an automated call to your number, where you are advised to press the # key for verification.
Note: If you attempt to send an SMS verification code multiple times, you may encounter the following message:
"We've detected too many attempts. Please wait before trying again."
You will need to wait approximately 5 minutes before attempting to resend the code. This delay is implemented by the provider for security reasons. The exact number of attempts allowed before this message appears will not be disclosed to ensure enhanced account protection.
10. Once verification is completed you will be redirected to the mySAIT portal.
