A negative balance indicates that there's credit on your account and that you may be eligible for a refund. In these cases you can either request a refund or leave that credit on your account to be used towards future course registration.
Refunds can be requested by filling out a service inquiry form. Please include the following:
- Explanation of the request - Full Name
- Student ID number
Eight- week process for refunds
Most refunds for credit programs will be issued by email money transfer (e-Transfer) directly to the student. After your refund request is processed, you'll receive an email to your preferred email address advising you a payment has been initiated. If you're unsure what we have on file as your preferred email, you can find this by logging into mySAIT and from the mySAIT page choosing Personal Information under Change Personal Information.
Refunds will no longer be issued by cheque or to the original method of payment.
Refunds to international accounts are made via PayMyTuition
All other refunds are issued by Interac email money transfer
