Through the generous support of our donors, SAIT is proud to offer over $5 million in awards to students in almost every program. Awards are available to all qualifying SAIT students in recognition of academic success, financial need, community involvement and other areas of success and support.


If you are the recipient of a Student Award, you will receive an email to your SAIT email address with award disbursement information.

Awards categories

SAIT offers more than 4,300 awards to our students. Most awards fall under one of the following categories


Entrance Awards

Entrance awards are for students who are beginning a program. Some awards are for students in a specific program, and others are open to students in any program. Entrance awards are available for students starting in Fall, Winter, or Spring. 


General awards

These awards are not linked to a specific academic school. In most cases, any student in any program who completes the online application will be considered if they meet the criteria. 


School-specific

These awards are designated to a specific SAIT academic school or program(s). They take the form of bursaries, scholarships or prizes.

Become a Student Awards donor

Investments made by individual SAIT alumni and friends, associations, businesses, foundations and other organizations have helped countless students attend SAIT and achieve their goals. Our student awards are funded on an annual basis as well as through professionally managed endowments.


If you wish to donate to an existing award, conveniently donate online. Select 'other' from the menu and enter the award name in the text box next to 'tell us how to direct your gift'.
